Porta Via Calabasas Restaurant
In this second venture with Porta Via, Goineau paid homage to the Spanish Colonial Revival style of the surrounding area and the vibrant and lively architecture of the Mexican coastline, evoking the familiar feeling of a neighborhood bistro with a transportative, world-class feel. A stylistic trademark of her work that continuously references both the physical surroundings and cultural touchstones.

Porta Via Palisades Restaurant
For the Palisades outpost of Porta Via, Goineau drew inspiration from Palisades Village’s seaside location while still seeking to honor the restaurant’s original concept. Sophie created an integrated approach where the influences of a marina, British tea house and French brasserie fuse together in a timeless coastal enclave. All of the furniture in this project is custom designed.
